National Flag in Armée d'Afrique

Encore une fois je viens vous demander une question et ruiner votre

L'Algérie, de dire Constantine jusqu'en 1860 a été la
Française du drapeau national effectué dans la bataille, et par laquelle
Régiments de ligne de l'Armée d'Afrique: FLE, Troupes
Marine d'? Ont été l'Infanterie Légère d'Afrique, intitulé
pour porter le drapeau national.
Si ce qui précède ne porter le drapeau quel est le format?

Bonjour, I was thinking of doing it in English at the time. I read the translation back that I wrote, even I cannot understand it!!!
OK, I was wondering, was the French National Flag carried in North Africa. Was it carried in combat? The periods I am looking at was about the Constantine action through to about 1860s. What Regiments carried it? FFL, Coloniale? Would the African Light Infantry be entitled to carry it?
If the Flag was carried what was the format of the Flag? i.e. The dimensions? what was on the field and the colours?
I hope this is clearer than the previous post... Or alternatively could you suggest a site I could look at?

The french regiments always carried National flag !!!

I am sorry if I am making a mess of this. When the British Regiments went into battle they carried the Regiments' flag and the Union Jack (National Flag) emblazoned with battle honours, etc.
Was the French National Flag carried into battle in the same manner in North Africa by the various Regiments involved i.e. the FFL, Colonial Regiments...during the conquest of Algeria and through to the 1860s. (1860 is just a cut-off point for the purpose of this question. Nothing significant)
If the flag was carried into battle what were the dimensions. What was on the flag in the way of honours etc.
Or alternatively would there be any sites on the Inet that could give a visual of this Flag in use?
